linfedemaseecondario1The  Secondary Lymphedemas arise as a result of acquired causes (infections or parasitic infestations, purchase radical surgery, radiation therapy, lymph node inflammation nonspecific, iatrogenic injury) that disrupt the normal anatomy of the area anatomical considered. Among these the most common and growing causes in which surgical techniques excision of the tumor, sales for the respect of the criteria of radical surgical-oncology, are associated with more or less extensive lymphadenectomy locoregional.

Time to onset of secondary lymphedema is extremely variable (from one to two weeks over 30 years on the cause, surgery, infectious, traumatic or iatrogenic that resulted).
